Recipe: Kristin’s Costa Rican Tuna Salad
Summary: Have a taste of authentic Central American cuisine with this easy recipe! This is one of the most common dishes we ate when I was living in the rainforest of Costa Rica, besides the ever-delicious and nutritious rice and beans. It is refreshing and healthy, and incredibly easy to make.
Ingredients
- 2 cans tuna
- 3 medium tomatoes
- 1/2 onion
- 1/2 cucumber
- 1 lemon
- 3 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- drops of chili sauce, opt.
- dash of salt and pepper
Instructions
- Chop everything to size desired and garnish with lemon.
