Italian Meatballs

Recipe: Italian Meatballs

Summary: Italian meatballs are perfect for spaghetti or they can make a mean meatball sandwich when simmered with a little marinara sauce and stuffed into a big hogie roll. Yum!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1/2 cup onion, minced
  • 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
  • 2 pieces of toast, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup quick oats
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp fresh oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic salt

Instructions

  1. Thoroughly combine all the ingredients in a bowl with your hands.
  2. Roll into walnut-sized balls and place on a cookie sheet lined with foil.
  3. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 to 30 minutes.
