Recipe: Italian Meatballs
Summary: Italian meatballs are perfect for spaghetti or they can make a mean meatball sandwich when simmered with a little marinara sauce and stuffed into a big hogie roll. Yum!
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1/2 cup onion, minced
- 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
- 2 pieces of toast, crumbled
- 1/4 cup quick oats
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp milk
- 1 tsp fresh oregano
- 1 tsp garlic salt
Instructions
- Thoroughly combine all the ingredients in a bowl with your hands.
- Roll into walnut-sized balls and place on a cookie sheet lined with foil.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 to 30 minutes.
