Chocolate Mint Sauce

Recipe: Chocolate Mint Sauce

Summary: Serve warm chocolate mint sauce over ice cream, cake, or use it as a dip for fresh strawberries!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup boiling water
  • 2 T chopped fresh mint
  • 9 oz semi sweet chocolate
  • 1 1/2 oz unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 T butter
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Pour boiling water over the chopped mint and allow to steep for 20 to 30 minutes.
  2. Strain. Discard mint leaves.
  3. Melt chocolate and butter.
  4. Add milk and two tablespoons of the mint “tea.” Stir until well blended.
  5. Serve warm.
