Prostrate Rosemary is a lovely, creeping variety of Rosemary is perfect for hanging baskets or incorporating into landscapes. It also adds an unusual texture to mixed plantings. Use it in recipes as you would other types of rosemary. Find great Rosemary recipes here!
Keep trimmed for a more lush appearance. Prune the plants after flowering. In the summer, fertilize potted plants after the flowers have appeared. Plant in pots to bring indoors in the winter. Rosemary likes well drained, average to dry soil. It prefers a sheltered position such as on the south or southwest side of a wall or foundation. It tolerates part shade, but the flavor of the plant may be weakened if it doesn’t get enough sun.
